I'm going to level with you here..
The most amazing, engaging, kick ass social media marketing in the world won't make one damn bit of difference if your website hasn't been updated since 2001.
Your website is where you are going to convert all those curious social media fans into brand ambassadors and customers.
You can pay someone a whole bunch to build you a website on a Wordpress template or other completely custom website builder (which will get all wonky as soon as a plugin updates - costing you time and money to have your web-person fix it).
You can have me build you a semi-custom, always functioning website on the Squarespace platform.
Best Reasons to
There are over two dozen templates to choose from based on what you need for your business - and they are all clean, modern, and ready to go.
Squarespace lets you have a built in store that is super easy to use. No messing with a separate plugin or store to sell things.
Simple + Consolidated
I am the queen of figuring out how to do things quickly + easily. I'm a mompreneur and a solopreneur - so I just don't have time to get bogged down in a lot of coding or pulling my hair out. With Squarespace, there's minimal tweaking and I can do what I need to and move on.
I can also have everything I need all on one website. Blog, services, email signups, store, event calendar, etc.
It's also fairly easy to learn - which means once I get your new badass website built, tweaked, and situated - I can show you how to do easy updates yourself, saving you even more time and money. (that's the name of the game, amiright?)
It is the easiest interface ever.
Wordpress is a free open source software - meaning all updates and maintenance is up to you (or the person to whom you pay a hefty sum). With Squarespace, there's no real updates or maintenance required. Because who needs to waste time with that nonsense?
With other website platforms, you have to pay for a separate hosting service (like, bluehost or godaddy). Not with Squarespace - again, less stuff to get screwed up!
There have been some huge misconceptions about Squarespace and SEO rankings. Quite frankly, it's all a bunch of hooey. SEO has far more to do with concerted effort and quality content that if your site is on Wordpress or some other platform.
I came across this amazing blog from a photographer that gets into to super nitty-gritty of not only what SEO really is (if that's kind of a fuzzy topic for you), but how to do it correctly and specifically for Squarespace.
